My name is Melissa. My mother was adopted out as a newborn infant and I was adopted by my step-dad when I was seven. He had been in my life since I was 2 years old. This web site is an attempt to put together the pieces of my life that are not on my birth certificate and wouldn't fit onto the Ancestry.com family tree.
